Description
Come and stay in this converted cowshed in the shade of the trees overlooking the stunning Banw valley. Perfect for couples and small families, whether you want a peaceful getaway or a base to explore nearby Snowdonia. Underfloor heated throughout. Set on a smallholding along a quiet lane (although the local wildlife are vocal)! Outdoor area with parking. Up to 2 dogs or are welcome. The neighbouring main house sleeping 6 (50 metres up the lane) may be available to book. The space OUTDOOR AREA Enjoy the Banw Valley views through the trees from the cabin's South facing outdoor area with bench. Adjoining this is your own dedicated parking area. Say hi to the resident hare or listen out for the calls of the local Buzzards and Tawny Owls. LIVING AREA/KITCHENETTE In the living area we have a modern sofa, positioned to make the most of the view through the full height window, or close all the the floor length curtains and snuggle up! Adjacent to this there is a dining table and chairs. There is a compact kitchenette with toaster, kettle, microwave, portable single induction hob and fridge with freezer compartment. The kitchenette is equipped with plates/bowls, cutlery, mugs, glasses, a saucepan and frying pan, basic cooking implements, a teapot and cafetiere, chopping board and knife. We provide tea towels and dishcloths, a dustpan and brush, and eco-friendly dishwashing liquid and multipurpose cleaner. BEDROOM Relax on the large double bed, with plenty of pillows, made up with soft white organic cotton bedding. There is a clothes rail and shelf, plenty of room for suitcases under the bed, and a dedicated mirror with shelf and hairdryer. BATHROOM Our newly fitted, modern bathroom is equipped with electric shower over double shower tray, modern sink with mirror and toilet. Each guest is provided with a fluffy white Egyptian cotton bath sheet and hand towel. Flannels are also provided. We are proud to stock Myddfai Welsh luxury handwash, shower gel, conditioning shampoo and hand/body lotion - not only do they smell great, they are a social enterprise and eco-friendly. Guest access On southern Snowdonia's doorstep, there is something for everyone as long as you have a car; - Miles of pristine sandy beaches, challenging mountains or stunning off-the-beaten path walks through forests and past lakes and waterfalls. - For adrenaline junkies, there is the world famous Zip World, several world class mountain biking trail centres, horseriding along the beach and endless watersports on both lake and sea. - Families can enjoy the scenery on a narrow gauge railway journey or bounce on nets suspended in underground caverns - Pick up a picnic made entirely of local goods, or enjoy the local area's range of excellent cafes, pubs and restaurants There is something for everyone - we are proud of our local area and happy to tailor recommendations, or browse our guidebook for ideas! Other things to note We welcome up to 2 dogs - we request that they are kept on a lead outside at all times, not allowed on the furniture, and that you bring a suitable crate if intending to leave your dog unattended in the property.
