In our house you will enjoy our unlimited view of the blue sea! It's worth a visit! The space In Skalia, in this beautiful village of our island, there is our traditional house, where our great-grandmother lived and where our family started! Our traditional house dominates a large acre of olive groves, at the entrance of the house a large 150-year-old carob tree! Our house is traditionally as our grandparents lived and we tried to marry it with modern and small modifications because we wanted to preserve the traditional character of our small house. The house was built around 1850! The house has the traditional bed, is fully equipped and has internet!The toilet is outside right next to our house, and it has a washing machine! The trump card of our house is the imposing view from the courtyard of our house to the endless blue sea! In the evenings you can hear the sound of the waves as you relax in the courtyard! Our traditional house is there for those who want to enjoy the tranquility, the sea and live a different experience more traditionally but with all the amenities at the same time! Guest access our guests can use all our spaces. Other things to note Skalia Skalia is a seaside village, on the northwest side of the island. It is amphitheatrically built on the mountainside, thus offering a magnificent view of the island of Telendos and the islet of Calabros. It is 18 kilometers from the port of Pothia and a few of its inhabitants are mainly engaged in livestock and fishing activities. Near the village, there is one of the most beautiful caves of the island, the cave of Skalia, which is rich in stalactites and stalagmites. In Skalia you can also find the church of Agios Nikolaos (Saint Nicholas), one of the 23 churches of the island dating from the 5th to the 6th century. Inside it, high-quality frescoes have been preserved. To the west you will find the -constructed by an ancient building - church of Agios Mamas. The rocky morphology of Skalia and the internationally recognized climbing fields that have been developed offer an ideal destination for climbing, while enjoying an admirable view of the Aegean Sea.
