This characterful cottage has been in our family for over 50 years & has seen many happy holidays! Nestled in a cul-de-sac on the south side of Wilderness lagoon (& just 400 metres from the beach), it's an ideal place for those with an appreciation of nature. The house has 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, a large living-dining room & kitchen. Plus a cottage with a bedroom & bathroom. The sheltered patio has a beautiful view over the garden & lagoon. FITTED WITH INVERTER & GAS STOVE FOR LOADSHEDDING! The space In the house, there are two en-suite bedrooms with queen beds and one bedroom with 5 single beds, plus a family bathroom. In the garden cottage, there are 2 single beds (that can be made up as a king) and a bathroom. The living room has a cosy fire for chilly winter nights, and the patio is ideal for relaxing, eating and bird-watching. The kitchen is fully equipped. Guest access This home is in a quiet cul-de-sac that runs along the lagoon. There is a small jetty and guests can use the rowing boat, canoes and SUP. There is a weber and a bigger BBQ, and outdoor furniture for the patio. Parking for 3 cars is available in the driveway area and along the road. Other things to note This is a much-loved, very old house - in fact, the oldest in Wilderness - that is ideal for those looking for a real escape! It is fitted with an inverter, that provides power during loadshedding, plus a gas stove and oven. There is a wifi router that can be topped up with Vodacom data. It does not have DSTV, but does have plenty of books and games, as well as a TV, DVD player and DVDs.
