Summerhill @ Sassafras Springs Ellendale

Summerhill is a 3 bedroom self contained farmhouse set on a separate corner of the Sassafras Springs Estate in Ellendale. Recently painted and redecorated, it offers the best of both worlds. More private than our other cottages but a short walk to the vegetable garden, fruit orchard and platypus dam. Other things to note We recommend you to purchase food for your meals on route. If you come from the north or west, the closest food store to us is a Mini IGA Supermarket at Ouse, approximately 20 minutes drive. If you come from the direction of Hobart, there is a Woolworths Supermarket in New Norfolk, which is approximately 40 minutes away. There are not a lot of options for eating out for dinner. Our organic garden usually provides some additional vegetable delights during spring and summer and our cottages have great kitchen facilities.
