Woodland Estates Waterfront Cottage

This is a 'cozy' 3-bedroom cottage, ready for year-round use. It is a waterfront property, with a private dock, which is great for (boaters) The property sits on 1 acre of land to enjoy with a picturesque scenery facing Lake Seymour or (Trent River). It's a great space to relax or enjoy the outdoors. There is a TV with a DVD player available, with lots of (movies) to select. The water is very shallow & very rocky, so (water shoes) are recommended. The water level is great for kids. The space This is a single-family cottage sitting on Lake Seymour (Trent River). Located within the Municipality of Trent Hills, Northumberland County. The nearby towns & cities include Campbellford, Hastings & Norwood, and Peterborough is just 30 minutes away. We are also 30 minutes from "Sandbanks" beach. This home has a walk out deck on the main floor, with an additional walk-out on the lower level. The home has (2) bedrooms on the main floor, and (1) bedroom on the lower level. The home is surrounded by trees, nature and the water, and is a great space for families, friends, church groups or anyone seeking a great outdoor experience. This home has lots of parking space and is nicely furnished. Boaters can launch their boats at the Woodland Estate Resort (2 minutes away) for $20.00 and can enjoy the full benefits of the lake. The area is a great space to fish & or enjoy the water all year round, and you can bring your boat, canoe or water floats for your own enjoyment. The Kitchen area is equipped with a (full eat-in kitchen) including a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, plates, bowls, cutlery and cooking utensils. The space has been designed with 'you' in mind. We have tried to create an 'Oasis' a home away from home. We have tried to include everything that you might need to just come away and relax! Guest access The guests can utilize all 'open and available spaces'. Only the (Laundry area is off limits) There are several small kitchen appliances that are located in the storage closet in the bathroom behind the door. You can utilize the entire home, except for all sheds and the main garage as these areas will be (locked). But you can access the open shed to obtain the portable 'fire pit' (Seasonal). (Please bring your own wood). There is a fence between this home and the adjacent neighbor, in order to keep the animals off the property & to keep our guests safe. Other things to note The fire pit can be used & fire wood is sometimes available in the open shed. Please bring your own wood just in case. But guests are asked to ensure that the fire is COMPLETELY out - before they retire for the night. The Wood Burning Stove in the basement - is 'off limits' to guests for (safety reasons). NOTE: The home has (4) external camera's to protect the property (specifically) in the off-season. So they will be active during the rental, but there are NO camera's within the home.
