Stay in a modern farmhouse on a 13 acre homestead with native prairie grass, huge open space and tons of trees. Ayr is about a 10-15 minute drive to the charming small town of Hastings, home of Kool-Aid, several craft breweries, Main Street shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops. We lovingly refer to our state as The Neb and it has lots to offer -- beautiful landscapes, stunning sunsets, bright stars, and good people. Come visit our AirBnB in the middle of everywhere. Fall in love with #Rural. The space Our fully restored farmhouse is a great spot to relax, and enjoy family and friends. The house has walk-in showers, two flat screen TVs, with cable and wifi -- but the thousands of lightning bugs, landscape, hammock, hundreds of singing birds, deer and turkey saying hello are also a nice excuse to wait a little to answer that text. There's a full kitchen with a gas stove, oven, serving dishes, cookware, and all the standard spices. You will enjoy the fully stocked coffee, tea, and hot chocolate station. The modern farmhouse was a 1922 Sears Roebuck kit home that was fully renovated in 2019. The big white barn, on this original homestead in Ayr, Nebraska, was hand-built in 1904 and is the perfect backdrop for pictures. There is another smaller cabin on the property as well that sleeps 6 people. The cabin is pet-friendly, unlike the farmhouse. Renting both properties is perfect for group getaways since you can sleep a combined 18 people comfortably. The smaller cabin does have a patio with a grill and small fire pit. Both properties are located on the same 13 acres but are distinct homes and may be rented individually.
