In beautiful rural North Yorkshire, Hill View Cottage is a bright and cosy self contained cottage. Upstairs is a studio, (bed sitting room), while downstairs kitchen and bathroom. This unique cottage has stunning 180 degree uninterrupted views of the Yorkshire countryside. It also has free off street parking and a patio for alfresco dining. Two miles from Malton, this little gem is a great base to explore the beautiful local area a short drive from the historic city of York and the coast. The space This comfortable self-contained cottage is located on our small holding of private land offering guests a relaxing escape with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside while being close to town. In Hill View Cottage there is a spacious and bright attic style studio, consisting of a bed sitting room with sloping ceilings. The entire east facing gable wall of the studio has four feature windows making the most of the view and there are roof windows above the bed. The studio has a king size bed, 32” Freeview TV, and comfy chairs with footrests, a chest of drawers, hanging rail and two bedside cabinets with storage, extra blankets and a hairdryer. All bed linen and towels for 2 adult guests are all included. Downstairs the fully equipped kitchen has; fridge with icebox, washer, electric oven/hob, toaster, kettle, microwave and all necessary utensils cutlery and crockery for self-catering. Also, in the kitchen there are corner windows facing the views and a table and chairs for dining. The modern shower room comes with an electric shower, toilet and basin, along with a large, heated ladder towel rail. The cottage is fully insulated, has double glazing and is heated throughout by electric radiators which have their own thermostat that can be adjusted by guests. Free Wi-Fi is available. The patio comes with a table and chairs for alfresco dining. **Our other rental also on Airbnb 'Wold View Cottage' is adjacent to Hill View, it offers 1 bedroom accommodation with separate living space and sofa bed, so if two groups or family members wanted this can be booked together with 'Hill View.' **Please message us if you cannot find it. Guest access Guests have their own keys and front door; the accommodation is entirely private and does not share any of the space with any other property. It is situated on our small holding and about 800meters from the road. Parking is very safe and located next to the patio in front of the property and has an external security light with sensors. We are located off the main road and down a well made stone farm track that has recently been renewed. We drive up and down the track every day and encounter no problems, but we suggest that guests drive slowly (20mph) once off the road. Other things to note Malton has several supermarkets, health food store, delis, greengrocers and butchers and the nearest convenience store (Tesco) is open from 6am to 10pm and about half a mile from the property.
