Enclosure Bay Panorama is the perfect spot for your stay on Waiheke, with sweeping views stretching from the Coromandel Peninsular to the Auckland CBD. 2 king (with ensuite) and 2 queen rooms and plenty of privacy make this the perfect retreat for your Waiheke beach holiday. Twin lounges and lots of outdoor space mean plenty of room for adults and children alike. Popular Enclosure Bay, Sandy Bay and Palm Beach are all an easy 10 minute stroll away. NOTE: the house comes with our pet cat Lulu. The space LIVING AREA 1 & KITCHEN: the large sun-filled living and kitchen area occupies the NW side of the house, with an open plan kitchen at the eastern end catching all of the morning sun. The lounge overlooks the Hauraki Gulf and back to Auckland, with stacking windows opening onto a large deck. There is a heat pump in the lounge along with a wood burning fireplace. The dining table seats 8 people easily. The kitchen has all of the amenities you’ll need, including stove-top and automatic espresso coffee makers, induction cook top, electric oven, dish washer, fridge/ice maker, cutlery and crockery, etc. The kitchen does not have a microwave. There are also a number of cookery books that you are free to use while you stay. Once connected to the internet you'll be able to use the Sonos system in the lounge, dining, kitchen and second lounge rooms. LIVING AREA 2: Off the kitchen is the second lounge, with day bed and projector - a great option for movie nights in. You are welcome to help yourself to Netflix, Apple TV and terrestrial television, or read any books you find around the house. There is also a desk and printer in this room if you need to work at any stage. MASTER BEDROOM: the large master bedroom is upstairs, with 180+ degree views over the Hauraki Gulf. There is a king bed with orthopaedic mattress and box mosquito net. There is an en suite bathroom on this level. There is a small children’s play area and second office space with dual monitors in the mezzanine area outside the master bedroom. Your children are free to use the play area. SECOND BEDROOM: on the eastern end of the house this room has a king bed with box mosquito net, en suite bathroom and kitchenette. This room has ocean views towards the north and west, and also allows glimpses of Palm Beach. THIRD BEDROOM: this room has a queen bed, and has ocean views to the north west. This bedroom shares the main bathroom with bedroom 4. There is a mosquito net over the bed. FOURTH BEDROOM: this room also has a queen bed with box mosquito net. There are a number of books in this room for children to use. LAUNDRY: within the butlers pantry behind the kitchen there is a laundry cupboard with washing machine, dryer and Dyson stick-vacuum. Feel free to use the laundry as needed. Several drying racks can be found in the house. OUTSIDE: outside the kitchen and living spaces is a sheltered deck alcove with outdoor dining table and BBQ. This is a great place to have lunches & dinners with great views over Enclosure Bay. There is also a spa pool beside the deck, and an outdoor fireplace. PLEASE KEEP FIRES TO A MODERATE SIZE, USE THE FIRE GUARD PROVIDED AND MAKE SURE THE FIRE HAS BURNED OUT COMPLETELY BEFORE LEAVING UNATTENDED. There is a bluetooth speaker for use outside (please bring inside after use!) Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the property and its amenities. Vehicle access is to the front door, with off street parking for 4 cars. Other things to note The house comes with our pet cat, Lulu. We are happy for our guests to celebrate New Year at the house but we do not allow large parties to be held at our property during your stay. Thanks for your understanding. Fibre broadband wifi is available at the house and is free for the duration of your stay. We have a large collection of children’s toys and games and you are welcome to use these as well. Water for the house is collected off the roof and can sometimes be in short supply over the summer, so please be mindful when showering etc. Water at all taps has been passed through 3-stage filtration and UV treatment so is 100% safe to drink. Clean sheets will be fitted at the start of your stay - please strip the beds and leave the sheets in the laundry when you leave.
