Mid-Century Modern home

Enjoy our beautiful mid-century modern space, located right in the middle of a quiet neighborhood, and just a block from the 241 acre Whatcom Falls Park woodlands, trails connecting to Galbraith Mountain, and a 1/2 mile from Lake Whatcom! Enjoy a remodeled bathroom, W/D, and local coffee! The space This is the bottom half of a beautifully restored mid-century modern house (built in 1959). It is light and bright! We have fun continuously adding mid-century details to the unit. PLEASE NOTE: Because it is on the ground floor and we live above, there is noise transfer. Although we are pretty quiet after 10pm, we do have a child and a small dog and our footsteps are heard in the apartment. The neighborhood itself is super quiet and full of deer. There are two bedrooms and a one bathroom with bathtub. There is not a full kitchen, but we try hard to include the basics which include fridge, microwave, toaster and electric kettle, as well as plates, bowls, wine glasses, etc. The apartment has a shelf full of games and puzzles for both children and adults. Guest access Guests have access to wi-fi, a private entrance, and a full washer and dryer. No access to the back yard, or top half of the house, but full use of the front yard and parking area. Other things to note A large flat-screen TV is available. You can sign into your Netflix, Hulu and Amazon on the TV. All towels and sheets are washed in an environmentally friendly laundry soap and all cleaning supplies (with the exception of the toilet cleaner) are all environmentally friendly as well.
