Secluded, reclaimed log cabin. This hidden gem is a piece of the past with the comfort of modern amenities. Come sit a spell on either of the porch swings, enjoy a campfire by the pond, cozy up to the wood burning fireplace, or soak in the hot tub. *Be sure to read house rules and other notes before booking. The space The Cabin is a reclaimed tobacco barn with an addition for modernized indoor plumbing (although the outhouse is still available). It is nestled in the woods on our small maple production farm, making it mostly secluded and private. The Cabin is not visible from the road. (If hoping for an early arrival or a quick view prior to the check-in date, please contact us for appointment.) *The main loft is accessed by stairs. Loft above the bathroom with 2 twin beds is only accessible by the steep ladder and is not suitable for young children and may be difficult for older adults. Guest access The Cabin is fully accessible. Other things to note *Check-in is at 3pm and checkout is by 11am, unless other times have been ok'd with hosts. *No Sunday check-ins unless approved by hosts. *We are flexible on check-in times when the schedule allows. *While we do have wifi, it may not always be available, as we are in a very wooded/rural area. Along with the flat screen TV and Dish, a DVD player, retro video games, and some cards/games/puzzles, and cornhole are available. Charcoal grill available (charcoal not provided). *Mid-January through the end of March (depending on the weather) is our maple syrup season. During this time, you may see us out collecting sap and checking the sap lines. We will do our best to not disturb you. We will be more than glad to give guests a tour of Grace's Sugar Shack and explain the process of how maple syrup is produced. We will also have Pure Maple Syrup available for purchase throughout the year in The Cabin.
