WORKING FROM UPSTATE - If you're booking The Shack and need to work while you're up there, we have two separate work spaces, perfect cell phone coverage at the house and decent WiFi that supports two people on Zooms all day. NEW - 'The Shed' additional optional bedroom for 2 set in the trees just 20 feet from the main house. Will only be booked as part of The Shack so you're never sharing the property with anyone else. Access to The Shed is provided when booked by 3 or more people. Set on 7 acres, this cute designer cabin is the perfect getaway. With 2 private bedrooms including The Shed (both with brand new queen Keetsa beds) plus sleeping loft (twin bed), it can comfortably sleep up to 5 people. Close to Narrowsburg's Main St with great restaurants The Heron and the Laundrette, plus a farmers market on Saturdays in summer, coffee, vintage clothing and antique shops. Great swimming & rafting in the Delaware River. Also close to great hiking trails. If you fancy some live music, Bethel Woods, the original Woodstock site, is just 10 miles away and has events most nights during the weekend in summer. The house is set back off the road with nice walks around the property and down to the stream at the end of the road. Great for cycling, running, walking, or nothing-ing. The Shack features a wood burning stove, Nest-controlled heating, brand new appliances including gas oven, stainless steel fridge/freezer, and all the cooking things you'll need (all the essentials are provided so you don't have to pack olive oil in your weekend bag!). The bathroom has a great shower with deep soaking tub and view of the wild turkeys outside. In summer, grill outside on the charcoal Weber BBQ, and there's a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and sing-a-longs. Lots of outdoor seating on the back deck and boulders surrounding the property, plus a picnic table on the grass and nesting tables for the back deck. The Nest Thermostat means I can have it nice and warm for when you arrive (only in winter though, don't worry we won't cook you) and you can keep it at the right temperature when you're out and make it nice & warm for your return. In summer you can leave the screened windows open and keep any bugs out. All linens & towels are provided, all brand new and high thread-count sheets. The lawn is mowed all summer. In winter we recommend a 4WD vehicle in case of snow (even on main roads and highways). Dogs are welcome but will incur an additional $50 fee. Dogs are allowed only on a case-by-case basis as we have some other guidelines for bringing your pup. After confirming your booking a price adjustment for the dog fee will be sent. 4 night minimum over Christmas & New Years. And 3 nights for public holiday weekends.
