Luxury Loft at Claughton Hall

The Luxury Loft is situated within the West Wing of the Stunning and Imposing Claughton Hall. We hope to provide guests with a comfortable yet memorable home from home experience. The Loft offers spectacular views over the Lune Valley from an elevated hilltop position. Take it easy at this unique, tranquil and luxurious getaway. The Fenwick Arms gastro pub is situated a short 12minute walk away at the bottom of the homes private driveway. The space The Loft has been fully refurbished to the highest of standards throughout and was completed in early April 2022. Access to the Loft is through a private covered external half flight of stairs to the rear of the West Wing. Hallway. Guests enter into the spacious hallway which has a beautiful natural stone tiled floor. Bedroom Leading from the hallway is the well appointed yet cosy bedroom. King size bed with luxury bedding. (Emma original memory foam mattress). There is ample storage in this room from a wardrobe with both hanging space and shelves along with a dressing table with large mirror above. Ensuite The brand new ensuite shower room comprises of a large shower enclosure, sink, toilet, heated mirror and heated towel rail. Natural stone tiling and Burlington fixtures and fittings. Kitchen Brand new high quality shaker style kitchen featuring granite worktop, Neff appliances (dishwasher, induction hob, extractor, microwave, oven) and also integrated fridge freezer. The kitchen is stocked with a whole host of great quality kitchenware that will hopefully meet all guests culinary needs. Dining The dining area is located within the oversized kitchen island and has 3x comfortable bar stools. Living The open plan living area features a large 3 seater (John Sankey) velvet sofa with oversized coffee table. Opposite the sofa are 2x antique bergere armchairs. This room also benefits from a 65inch Samsung Ultra HD Smart TV with amazon and Netflix preloaded. The living space also benefits from a huge fireplace with log burner. There are plenty of board games in the cupboards to keep you entertained for hours. The views from this room across the Lune Valley, front and rear gardens of Claughton Hall are sensational. Utility Room This room is accessed from the kitchen and features an LG 9kg washing machine, iron, ironing board, first aid kit and over counter shelving for storage. Patio To the outside of the property there is a well sized patio area which is accessed through front door and down the half flight of external stone steps. This space although not enclosed is for the sole use of the guests using the Loft and offers enough privacy for relaxation and alfresco dining. Beyond the patio is a private mature woodland. The extended grounds of Claughton Hall are a haven for wildlife. Deer are often seen roaming the parkland. Take a stroll around the large ponds to the front of the property and try to spot the large koi carp and other fish. Other things to note At the bottom of the driveway (12 mins walk) is the well regarded Fenwick Arms which is a superb gastro pub. Please note that as the pub is down the hill from the cottage it is much easier to get there than back if you are walking.
