You'll be staying in the heart of Montford's historic neighborhood with the lovely weirdness of downtown Asheville, less than a mile away. There, you will find the Drumming circle, great restaurants, many breweries, pottery studios, boutique shopping, glass blowing, street buskers and art galleries. Situated next door to the restaurant is Montford Convenience Store & Deli. Heading down the street you’ll pass several more yummy restaurants. In less than a mile you’ll be surrounded by art galleries, breweries, boutique shopping, street buskers, restaurants & Friday night’s drumming circle in funky downtown Asheville. We know you’ll love our city as much as we do! This lovely 700 sq. ft studio apartment sleeps 5 people comfortably. Three in the main studio and another two in a completely, separate bedroom. The house was built in the 1920's & is furnished in that deco style. You will enjoy all the creature comforts; wifi internet and flat-screened enabled smart tv allowing streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu & Prime. A full refrigerator for your fresh groceries or restaurant left-overs. You can heat food in the microwave or toaster oven and you’ll find everything needed for a delicious cup of tea or coffee. Enjoy a rain shower in the spacious, tiled bathroom. Thick 100% cotton towels and sheets. Maps, games, books, & puzzles for your leisure. Umbrellas, masks & flashlights for evening walks. We live upstairs; handy if you need us, but rarely seen, if you don’t. In a hundred-year old house, you may occasionally hear faint sounds of life above, but we’re extremely considerate of our guests. Prior to your arrival the apartment will have been sanitized according to the Air BnB Covid Commitment. Guest access You may use the driveway on the right side of house (when facing) to unload your car, if you want. Apartment is located to the left at the end of driveway. This is a shared driveway so regular parking is on the street. There is always a place nearby. You will receive the code for the keypad prior to your stay. Other things to note We are located half-mile from the visitor center which is a great resource for guided tours, hop-on, hop-off tours, trail maps, and the local food scene.
