Cottage Under the Oaks

A lovely studio centrally located on James Island, The Cottage is about 5 miles to Folly Beach or Downtown. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and almost everything on the island is within a few miles. *No children under 13 without prior approval.* **We do have a 30-day minimum during some dates. If you need a shorter reservation and your dates aren’t showing as available, message us and we’ll see if we can make it work.** Permit Number: OP2025-06937 The space The cottage is a cozy 260 square feet with a queen bed and a convertible sofa that folds down to a small twin. It will accommodate two people comfortably, three if you really like each other. For your convenience, we provide Sand Cloud beach towels, chairs, and a small cooler. Everything you need for a perfect beach day! The kitchen includes a 2-burner stove, microwave, toaster oven, pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery. The coffee maker is a 2-cup drip Mr. Coffee, with local organic coffee provided. Guest access You have full access to the cottage, small outdoor patio, and small area of the backyard. Other things to note One side of the cottage borders our fenced in yard, but your outdoor space is separate from ours. While the view from the patio is lovely, the property belongs to a vacant house next door. It is not a walking trail nor property on which you can freely roam. This is a residential property, and there are other homes around.
