The space Our property is a legally permitted vacation rental as required by Charleston City ordinance. We are located one block from the heart of the entertainment district of Upper King Street and in the popular Cannonborough/Elliotborough neighborhood. Our property offers Charleston charm with a beautiful landscaped property and a large porch. When you enter our driveway between to brick columns, you will be greeted with a beautiful, landscaped area with palm, holly and magnolia trees and over 200 plants. The parking and driveway area is paved with bricks and bluestone. The house built in the 1950's has been totally restored on the inside, but still contains the historical charm of a Charleston house. Our house provides an excellent home base to explore all that Charleson offers! Enjoy the porch as you sip your morning coffee before starting off your day. The rental is on the whole first floor of the house and includes 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, laundry, full kitchen and living room area. Spacious enough for up to 10 people. No need to bring your own music. Our sound system located in the living room and kitchen area provides great sound and selection to Sonos and Pandora. The living room has a pull-out Queen sleeper sofa plus seating for an additional 4 people. The kitchen island has seating for an additional 4 people. Location: You will love the location! We are located in downtown Charleston, one block off of King Street. You can easily walk to restaurants, bakeries, bars, and more with-in a few minutes or opt to drive to any of Charleston surrounding areas to see all it has to offer. We also offer two more full-house vacation rentals on Cannon Street. A 6 bedroom, 6 and a 1/2 bathroom newly rented historical house and a 4 bedroom, 4 and 1/2 half bathroom newly built house. Mandatory Hurricane Evacuation Policy: If a mandatory evacuation order for Charleston is given we will refund 100% of all deposits, payments/or monies paid for the dates of the evacuation. We shall have no further liability with regards to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in other states or the World which prohibits you or your guests from traveling to Charleston a refund will not be issued, and we will have no further liability. We strongly suggest that our guests obtain traveler's insurance but especially during months when there is a potential for inclement weather (e.g. hurricane season). Guest access At check-in we will provide you with two keys. Most times we meet our guests at the property and provide information about the rental , answer any questions you may have. Other things to note PETS: No pets are allowed on the property. SMOKING: No smoking or vaping inside or on the porch. NOISE: Charleston has a noise ordinance which requires quite enjoyment of our property. Please no outside noise between the hours of 11:00 PM and 8:00 PM. PARTIES/EVENTS: This is not a party house. If you are coming to Charleston to celebrate a birthday, reunion, wedding, engagement, etc. we will be happy to host you. However, understand that the rental is only for the people actually staying at the property and not to be used as event space with outside invited guests. We also expected our guests to be considerate of other guests who are staying on the property.
