A 4-room geodesic dome home unlike any other house you’ve stayed in! This is our full time residence but we love being able to share our unique space with other Vermonters and visitors to our beautiful state. The house is on a long dead end road in the peaceful woods of Southern Vermont, free of noise and light pollution. Whether you’re here to enjoy the summer outdoors, do some leaf peeping or stay cozy during ski season this is the perfect landing spot to be close to the main attractions. The space The dome has 4 rooms including a main bedroom, a smaller upstairs bedroom, a den with a pullout couch, and an office with a bench that doubles as a bed. The main living/dining room is open and airy, with a sliding back door that gives you a window to the beautiful outdoors. The main bathroom has been recently refinished with heated tile floors. Outdoors, there is a 3-tiered patio with fire pit and hammock, 2 babbling brooks, a shallow swimming hole to dip your feet on a hot day, a waterfall and a small hiking trail. We have a large grassy yard, as well as a small fenced-in area ideal for letting your pup romp around. Guest access There is a large "U" shaped driveway with plenty of parking space. The house is up a 1.5 mile dirt road which is typically in good condition. During "mud season" (early spring) or after torrential rainfall, there's a chance the road could be rough and/or washed out. If you’re visiting in March/April, 4wd may be needed to trek through the muddy roads in our area. Other things to note Dogs are allowed without any extra charges. Unfortunately cats are not as we are allergic :(
