For winter holidays and skiing holidays, there is a children's ski school with exercise carousel, children's lift and ski rental right in front of the house. Approximately 500 m away you will also find a 540 m long drag lift and a small ice rink. Mitterdorf Ski Center is 15 km away. Various hiking tours start right outside the door. With the free shuttle bus (bus stop 100 m from the house) you can reach the city center (indoor swimming pool, cineplex with 4 movie theaters and many shopping opportunities).  The town of Freyung is located in the border triangle near the border with the Czech Republic and Austria, about 15 km north of the Bavarian Forest National Park, about 35 km from the "three-river city" of Passau and about 40 km from the Western town of "Pullman City". The Bavarian Forest treetop trail (the longest in the world) is only 15 km away.
