The space Welcome to Desert Sage, a charming mid-century bungalow built in 1956 and tastefully updated. The perfect spot for up to five friends or family to enjoy a relaxing desert getaway. Featuring two queen bedrooms, a twin room with a daybed, and one full bathroom. A desk space in the twin bedroom also offers guests a space to work comfortably from home. Relax and rejuvenate, surrounded by panoramic mountain views in the backyard, and enjoy a spacious hot tub, propane fire pit, hammocks, covered outdoor dining area, propane grill, and plentiful lounge furniture to take in the beautiful surroundings and incredible starry night skies. We are a pup friendly property and our backyard is fenced in for your four-legged friends. Indoors, enjoy the fully equipped kitchen for making meals or brewing morning coffee. Or kick back and pop an album on the record player, stream a movie on our smart TV, read one of the books in our little library, or play a classic board game. Traveling with an infant? We have a pack-n-play crib with mattress and sheets available on site for no additional fee, as well as a pop-up highchair that can be placed on a chair for your little one at mealtimes. What are you waiting for? Pack those bags and come crash at our pad! Guest access During your trip, you'll have exclusive access to the full house, yard, and amenities. The house is a private residence with no shared spaces and nobody else will be at the property during your stay. Other things to note Heating and Cooling The house is equipped with central HVAC and guests have access to the thermostat in the hallway. Kitchen The full kitchen has a retro style refrigerator, gas stove, and large microwave, and is equipped with dishware, utensils, coffee maker, pots, pans, etc. WiFi The home has reliable, hi-speed WiFi through Spectrum. Smart TV Our TV in the living room is equipped with Netflix and Disney+ or ready to stream from all of your accounts. Washer + Dryer A washer and dryer are available for guest use. Please provide your own liquid laundry detergent. Pets Desert Sage welcomes up to 2 well-behaved dogs. If you are hoping to bring more than 2 dogs (or an animal other than a dog) please message beforehand to inquire. There is a non-refundable $65 pet fee and we kindly request that you pick up after your pets. Smoking Smoking is not allowed inside the home. This applies to tobacco, marijuana, pipes, cigars, and anything that may leave an odor in the home. Vaping inside is permissible as long as there is no odor left behind. Smoking is permissible in the yard but cigarette butts must be appropriately extinguished and disposed of. If these rules are broken and the home smells of cigarettes or marijuana after check-out or cigarette butts are left strewn about the property an additional fee of $100 will be charged.
