Description
Our “Hood Hideaway” has great views of the Hood Canal and Olympic mountains. You’ll love our cabin because of the outdoors space, waterfront and old growth trees. All the benefits of nature without having to give up the comforts of home. Our place is good for families (with kids). The space “Hood Hideaway” is a place to get away from it all. The cabin is nestled in the trees on an acre with stairs and short trail to your own private beach and 100 feet of Hood Canal Waterfront. We don't have TV, but have lots of games, puzzles, large assorted CD collection and WiFi for your convenience. We set the cabin up as a retreat from the bustle. It is a perfect spot to enjoy long walks on the beach, swimming in the summer, fishing, collecting shells and harvesting oysters. Even on rainy days we enjoy playing cards, board games, or cozying up with a good book. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin, private beach, oysters, BBQ grill, fire pit, beach and camp fire chairs. The cabin is well stocked with all towels, linens, coffee, tea, sugar, spices, many condiments, and full kitchen for cooking. Bring food for entire stay since the nearest full grocery store is 40 min away. Don't forget your fishing rod and license, and wood for a bon fire. We have two single person kayak available for additional rental fee, or bring your own water toys to enjoy. Other things to note Cell service can still be a tad spotty but has been getting much better. 6 Adults max. The cabin can accommodate up to 8 total guests, but is best situated for 4 adults and 4 children with a max of 6 adults. Four wheel drive vehicle recommended.
