The River House is one of the units at Winding River Cottages on the Menominee. In addition to The River House, there are two other cottages also on the property. The house is located directly on the Menominee River, and has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and natural fireplace in an open concept space that is filled with natural light from a multitude of windows. Contact us if you are having an event and want to rent more than just the house:) The cottages each have 2 bedrooms. The space There are three bedrooms on the main floor along with 1 1/2 baths. A fourth bedroom is up the spiral staircase to a master bedroom with a wall of windows over looking the river. There is also a sitting area and a full bathroom. Additionally, there is a small office area, tons of windows throughout, 2 patios (one with a pergola and cafe lights), a gas grill, and a fire-pit area surrounded by Adirondack chairs. There is a futon that can easily convert in to a full-size bed for additional sleeping space in one of the bedrooms on the main floor. Let us know and we can have it made up for you and your guests. There is a shared laundry room connected to the house, as well. There is a door that locks between the house and the laundry room. You will need to provide your own laundry soap. Other things to note The kitchen is stocked with all the pots and pans you will need. Being that we are state licensed, we are not allowed to have any condiments, unless they are single-serve only. At this time, we do have single-serve salt and pepper packets available for our guests. We do not have any oil available.
