It has private terrace on 2nd floor and a bar on the ground floor to sit around, and kitchen by the garden. The bedrooms are on the 2nd. It comes with wifi (downstairs only), cable tv, assistance in island tour & pick up arrangement. Great for friends and families. It's our home. We share it with you. The space ABOUT THE GUEST HOUSE Welcome to Bohol! 3-storey townhouse with 3 bedrooms with ACs located on the 2nd floor (2 bedrooms) and 3rd floor (Master bedroom). It's in the center of Jagna town, called Poblacion and is situated inside a private compound, very safe and comfortable. Owned by Filipino and British couple who reside abroad. It can accommodate 6 guests comfortably. 2nd Floor bedrooms: * Family Room - 1x super single + 1 single bunk beds (kids will love) with AC (US$25 per night for 2-3 pax) * Queen Room - 1x queen bed, 1 single floor mattress (upon additional request only) with AC (US$25 per night for 2 pax) 3rd Floor bedroom: * Master - 1x super king bed + 1x folding bed frame with single mattress (upon additional bed request only) with AC + en-suite shower and toilet (US$45 per night for 2-3) NOTE: Base price for 2 is for the Queen Room on the 2nd floor. 3rd-6th guest will be in Family Room. Only booking with 7 guests onwards will be accommodated on the 3rd floor's Master bedroom. Should you choose the Master Bedroom, the price is higher at US$35-45 for 2-3 people. Only booking with 6-9 guests onwards will be accommodated in the entire house and use all bedrooms. Your privacy will be ensured as the other rooms will not be rented to other guests even if you only book one room. The house has: *Nice outdoor dining area. Basic kitchen with fridge. *Heater for hot water/shower (3 bathrooms - one on the ground floor, en-suite master bedroom and shared on the 2nd floor). *AC in all bedrooms. *Internet wifi is available. Its a little slow sometimes when too many people are on it but it's dependable for work emails. Stronger at the garden. *Nice shared garden and outdoor area to enjoy with wooden chairs and tables. **If booked rates include breakfast, it is simple, home cook and local: Coffee, juice and water, toast, an egg each, available meat produce and a seasonal fruit.** It has a dry pantry upstairs on the 2nd floor (no cooking allowed), living room with cable tv + dvd player, a counter bar area on the ground floor and a huge verandah on the main entrance of the 2nd floor. Cooking is allowed downstairs in front of the hut. Vacation Planning As you plan your vacation, consider whether you prefer a small hotel room or the amenities of a private vacation home. Do you want to share everything with scores of strangers in a resort or with just a few of your friends? Would you like the option of being able to prepare some of your own meals (limited cooking, no heavy cooking) or with some help from locals? Would you enjoy being a part of true Filipino culture or prefer being just another tourist? Our Townhouse in Jagna is not a resort and yet we offer you memorable accommodations for your vacation. You may booked the entire house or a few selected rooms exclusively. Each room can accommodate nicely 2 guests comfortably and another mattress can be placed on the floor for 3rd guest. It is two-storey, 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor floor and 1 bedrooms on the 3rd floor with living and dining areas plus terrace. It also has a garden with wooden tables and chairs to relax under a mango tree. It's in a gated compound so having your family and kids roam around is safe and enjoyable. If the group is bigger than 8 people, the big house (search for Villa Residencia) behind can accommodate 10-15 people and can be an alternative or can be rented together with the town house. Guest access WHY BOHOL TOWN HOUSE? This is our family home and you are welcome as we reside overseas. You have access to your room and common areas. Some rooms have locks and wardrobes. Please don't go into others rooms, unless it's booked by you at that period. Kitchen has basic amenities. Please ask Nimfa or my mother to help you with cooking or other requests - charges apply for certain requests. Front gate is always locked for safety after 9pm. Please make arrangements if you will be coming home late. Only registered guests are allowed to come in the property. Amenities in and nearby the house. Rental of scooters are available at 650 pesos per day. Please book in advance. The house is approximately 2-5 minutes car ride to the hospital, church, town market, shops, restaurants, port (fast and slow ferries go to Camiguin Island, Cagayan de Oro, Butuan City), municipal hall and schools. Wifi Internet and Cable TV are also available. BEACH access You can always explore the beaches in Jagna - in Can-uba or Alejawan. You can see local folks walking around especially if it's low tide. They are very friendly and charming. We also have seaside properties in Jagna town you can visit if they are not booked by other guests. For a more exotic swimming experience, you may also visit the famed Alona Beach of Panglao Island or White Beach of Anda, an hour and a forty minutes car ride respectively. In Jagna, you can enjoy Kinahugan Falls or Lonoy Cold Spring – both are great for nature lovers and a perfect alternative to swimming pools. Nearby swimming pool is available at 200 pesos per person, the nearest is about 7 minutes car ride. Need us to pick you up from Tagbilaran City to Jagna town? Airport/Port Pick-up and Drop off:Car 1,800 ; Van – P2,000 (one way) The owner has another sea-side property which guests can access for day use if they wish to. It's a ten minutes drive. If you are visiting Bohol via Manila or Cebu, it's a great idea to see another exotic island - Camiguin - to complete an island hopping vacation. Camiguin is a 2.5 hour ferry ride away from Jagna Bohol. You may take fast craft to Camiguin from Jagna with the ferry departing every Mon,Wed, Friday, Sat and Sun (to and from Jagna). Jagna is about 60 minutes car / van ride from Bohol's airport in Tagbilaran City. Whether you arrive in Bohol via an airplane from Manila or via ferry / boat from Cebu/Dumaguete, a visit in Bohol will be even more exciting and full of experiences at a lesser cost if you stay in Jagna. Especially if you come in a group of 3 to 6 people or more, like a family vacation or a barkada (friends) trip. This is when our home comes really handy for convenience, comfort and saving money. Other things to note Inside the gated compound are long-term apartment tenants (3 apartments). You won't see them all day as they work in the offices and they are very nice people whom you can ask for assistance in where to go in Bohol. If you need more than 2 bedrooms, the Family Home at the back area of the compound has 5 bedrooms (3 on the ground floor, and two on the second floor). This can be rented separately. We also have seaside properties you can rent. It's perfect for families or group of friends who want to leave in a home atmosphere rather than a busy hotel. We also donate a significant part of our revenue to sponsoring local teenagers to go to high school. They are selected students whose parents do not have permanent jobs, and yet are motivated to study and finish high school for better opportunities. We already have a few graduates and are helping their families. Thank you, you've been a part of their upward mobility.
