Newly renovated four bedroom Muskoka cottage

This newly renovated 1930’s Muskoka Cottage is located in the village of Port Sydney, 15 minutes from the Town of Huntsville. This modernized 1100 square foot four bedroom open concept cottage is located on a half acre of land on the banks of The Muskoka River. The main room is an open concept kitchen and living room with bedrooms on three sides. The Muskoka room spans the entire length of the cottage facing the River. This is where you’ll dine, playcards, or curl up for a nap on the daybed. The space Each and every room is impeccably designed with a mixture of old and new while keeping the original charm. Original doors have been refurbished and repurposed as headboards, original skis have been made into hangers, a boat tip has become a coffee table on the deck, and a church bench is used as seating in the Muskoka room. Bedrooms come with quilts and pillows. Guests must provide their own sheets and towels. Head down to water with a dock on 75 feet of waterfront. The dock is deep enough at the end for diving and swimming and has a shallow entrance at the shoreline to the left of the dock. The dock has an east exposure allowing sun for your morning coffee and throughout the day. With kayaks and stand up paddle boards at your exposure, take a paddle down the lazy river. Guest access Barbecue with propane available for your use, fire pit with wood provided, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, life vests in a range of sizes for your use, clothesline to hang wet towels and clothing. Other things to note Tap water is potable however if guests prefer, there is a water cooler with one jug of water provided. Please leave behind any empty jugs.
