Driftwood’ is a quiet, modern , dog friendly home (max of 2 dogs ) in a private courtyard just one minute from the beach and the town centre. It's an ideal seaside holiday retreat for couples, small families, or adults on a golf trip. The main bedroom has a king size luxury bed with a special mattress ( gel , body tempera regulating memory) bed and the second bedroom has one single bed and a smaller (183CM) bed (recommended for children only) There is one free parking space at the front door. The space The open plan living space is ideal for evenings, or for those occasional afternoons the East Lothian weather doesn't allow you to spend on the beach! There are games and toys, books and DVDs for rainy days and for kids and even Sky Channels including Sports. There is also a TV and DVD player in the small bedroom. For informal dining you can sit up at the breakfast bar (seats 4 people) or on the sofa around the low coffee table. Sliding doors open from the living room onto a small enclosed patio and shed with some beach accessories. It's not a big space but just enough to sit out in warm weather, or to let your dog get some air before that next walk on the beach. There is a travel cot and a high chair available and you only need to bring your own bedding for the cot. Guest access You're renting the whole property, a main door house comprising living area / kitchen, two upstairs bedrooms, entrance hall and upstairs bathroom. The house is in a private courtyard which is right in the town centre. Parking is always an issue so we're sure you'll appreciate one free private parking spaces right outside your front door. If you have a larger vehicle there is a local car park 1 minute away which is free after 6pm. Please note that commercial vehicles should be parked at the local car park and not in the courtyard. Other things to note There is a smart TV with all the Apps as well as SKY including Sky Sports. We follow Scottish Government Covid-19 cleaning protocols. Please do not leave your dog alone in the house unless it is in a cage. For any damaged or broken items, which need to be replaced, we would like to agree the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later. Parking can be expensive in North Berwick, however, we have one car parking space directly in front of the house where guests are welcome to park free of charge. We accept no responsibility for cars or personal property lost or stolen or injury/damage in/on this property and grounds.
