Gites La Colombiere: The Small House

Gites La Colombiere, situated near to the historic medieval Bastide of Eymet, is an old converted farmhouse surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers. Nestled in the hamlet of Lestang , it’s a picture postcard French get away. It’s the perfect location for those wanting to escape and unwind for a few days but if you fancy fitting in some culture, history and sight-seeing or some activities there is much to see and do. The space La Petite Maison is our cosy two bed gite making it ideal accommodation for a couple travelling alone, with friends or for a small family. The accommodation comprises On the ground floor​ Modern equipped dining kitchen with electric hob and oven, access to Rear covered private terrace Cosy lounge with log burner On the first floor​ Bed 1 King size french style bed Bed 2 Twin beds can be made into superking En-suite shower room ​ Other things to note La Colombiere, which dates back to 1816, has three distinct, individual Gites: La Grande Maison, Le Pigeonnier and La Petite Maison. The Gites can be rented separately or, when rented together, provides an ideal location for those very special family and friends gettogethers . Set amidst 18 acres, there’s more than enough room for you to escape the hassles of the day. The outside areas include parkland, woodland and our large rear gardens which can be used for a wide range of activities For the more discerning, a game of croquet or petanque will provide some “quiet competition” in the evening sun, before retiring to either the garden or pool terraces for some “al fresco” dining. And if that was not all, for those odd days when the sun doesn’t shine or you need a break from it, we have a 16 seat indoor cinema and games room. And for those that must, Wi-Fi is available throughout. So whether you need to relax and recharge, get active, celebrate in style with friends and family, crave culture and history or simply want to keep the kids entertained, this Dordogne accommodation makes a great choice for your holiday.
