With my parents, Annick and Jean-Claude, we welcome you to an old 19th century farmhouse. Completely restored, it is located in the heart of Gévaudan in Haute Loire, in a rural and wild environment. Our 3-star cottage is in a small quiet hamlet, close to the village of Saugues. The space With us, it's a vacation in the great outdoors with a comfortable and spacious gîte and in a preserved natural setting. You'll enjoy the large garden for summer barbecues or snowball fights in winter. We have a barbecue, garden furniture and deckchairs available to enjoy the beautiful summer days. Our house is family-friendly and welcomes your family gatherings or family vacations throughout the year. You will appreciate the proximity to many activities such as hiking, horseback riding or cultural visits with the famous story of the Beast of Gevaudan! On the practical side, our cottage is spacious and comfortable and offers plenty of private space. On the ground floor, you have a kitchen-dining room with its huge farmhouse table. It's perfect for your family meals. For your comfort and enjoyment, we have kept a wood burning stove that makes the house very cosy and warm in winter (wood provided free of charge). This wood-burning stove will also allow you to cook since it has an oven and the top is designed to simmer dishes. Next, you will have a large living room with two sofas. This is a TV and games area. You also have a laundry room (washer and dryer) and toilet on the ground floor. Upstairs you will find a small games room. We provide you with games for children as well as board games. On the same landing, you have 4 bedrooms (one with a baby bed), a shower room and a bathroom. Guest access You will have the entire house. I live next door and will be available during your stay if needed.
