"Open Blik" ("Broad View")

This wonderful little cottage is situated in the countryside of the "Backcorner" in The Netherlands. The place is aptly named "Broad View" since the view is literally kilometers away. Enjoy the beautiful skies, the healthy outdoors and the natural surroundings where you can hike & bike for hours. Visit the 8 castles. The the wonderful historic city of Zutphen is only 3 km's away! The whole cottage is yours and is 'spot on' for nature lovers & peace seekers. It is situated on our organic farm. The space The living room has many large windows so as to experience the nature and broad views to the outside. It is modern and well heated (by our solar power panels). The cottage itself measures 5 x 12 metres and is situated on its own next to our farm, there is good privacy. Guest access The whole cottage is available, the frontdoor can be locked. Other things to note There is a carpark (1 private carpark in front of cottage). There is a well equipped kitchen available including dishwasher, (microwave)oven, stove, fridge and with coffee and tea making necessities. PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT THERE IS NO WIFI AND TELEVION AVAILABLE. It gets quite dark here at nighttime so a flashlight (or smartphone with that function) will be of help when returning home late in the evening. We have two adorable farmdogs (one senior and one junior), they roam free on our premises most of the time they are harmless. They will give you a happy welcome to our place, however: in the case you have a fear of dogs it is something to pay attention to. Tourist tax is due in our acommodation, this is € 2,65 per person per night. This has to be paid upon arrival, prefferably in cash. Our cottage has an electric 30 litre boiler as hot water facility. It will last quite long and the shower is good. Only a restricted time to shower is advisable so as to not run out of hot water (it will heat up constantly though). Last but not least: we are farmers and we need daylight to do our work. We have quite some land were we grow fresh vegetables and it is possible to hear a tractor starting up early morning, hearing our cows moo in the distance..... There even may be 'Brussel Sprouts' growing in front of your window, or some cows grazing! This is just to remind you that we are an active organic farm.
