The Shack @ Horrocks is a perfect simple little beach shack. Everything you need for a quiet coastal getaway. For better rates check our insta @the_shack_horrocks The space The Shack is a typical coastal beach shack, concrete floors, a central living room/kitchen, a separate master bedroom, complete with queen size bed. We’ve tried to retain the ‘old school’ charm of these historic beach shacks. The original table has been restored, the original cabinets are still as good as ever. Crockery & cutlery is all so retro however for added comfort we have a brand new dual boiler coffee machine for the perfect brew each morning. The old coil mattress is gone and The Shack master bed is now a lovely comfortable cloud. You’ll see. It’s top of the range plush pillow top etc. Large modern fridge/freezer will keep the beers and fresh caught fish nice n cold. The kids room is ideally suitable for 2 kids with a single bunk bed on either side of the room. (These bunks are old style coil metal bunks - feels a bit safer just using the bottom of both bunks. There are no safety side rails at the top). There is a sofa bed in the kitchen/ living room available on request (additional charges apply). There is a refurbished laundry and simple shower and bathroom. External shower on the back verandah is a real treat on starry nights. It’s not a fancy apartment. There is no tv or WiFi. There is even occasionally mice scampering at night. And it’s not a place for partying or carrying on. But it is just a few steps from the ocean, in the center of town, in amongst the old farmers & fishermen camps, surrounded by a town full of laidback locals. The fishing, swimming, diving, kite-surfing is exceptional! The laidback coastal vibe is second to none. Come stay at The Shack Horrocks for a totally relaxing time in West Australia’s best kept secret town. And let’s keep it a secret. (: Guest access On arrival, the grass on the beach side of The Shack is the side to park in and access the shack. As you will see there is a bunch of shacks quite close to each other. Common spaces are respectably shared. Say hi to the neighbors, if there are any during your stay, and enjoy the amazing sense of community that this town has in abundance. Other things to note Shack must be left as you found it please. Please feel free to use produce that’s available in The Shack pantry, fridge etc. but top it up if you use a lot please. Please don’t leave food out, the mice don’t need any encouragement. BYO Linen & Towels. Charges listed are for 2 adults & 2 kids. Please advise if more people are staying. No smoking inside. 🙎🏼‍♂️ Let your tyres down on coastal tracks. Please feel free to use the SUP/snorkels/masks etc. DO NOT use my surfboards please without prior permission. Unless the surf is pumping and you NEED to use a board. 😊👌🏽. (No amateurs)
