Carneddau home - large living space, cosy bedrooms

Our relaxed, quirky quarrymans cottage is perfectly located for exploring Snowdonia, 2 miles from ZipWorld Penrhyn with easy access to A5/A55. Rachub enjoys wonderful views towards Anglesey from its location on the Carneddau. Our immediate area offers excellent walking opportunities; short and long. Just minutes by car to Nant Ffrancon & Cwm Idwal; reputed to be the most beautiful valley in N.Wales, the scenery is spectacular. The mature garden is private with dining area, bbq & fire pit. The space You enter the house into the central dining room with a large table to seat 8. We have 2 cosy bedrooms with double beds; one at the rear of the cottage, the other is a 'crog loft' room, typical of Welsh quarrymans cottages of the period (please note the short door and sloping ceilings). There is a ground floor bedroom with bunks and toddler bed. The living room is off the dining room and has a double sofa bed, kids toy zone, desk and plenty of space to socialise. In total; there are full size beds for 8, plus a toddler bed and travel cot (must be requested). The house retains many of its original features, these include some lower-than-usual door frames and level changes, all part the the quirky charm! There is wifi, TV and echo show with unlimited music. Just ask Alexa to play any music you wish. The kitchen is well-equipped, the lounge and dining room are light and spacious with comfortable furnishings, games, books and lots of details to help you get the most from your stay. The garden is wonderful social space with a large table, a bbq, a kids table and a separate fire pit area. Other things to note There is parking immediately outside the house for one vehicle (in front of our garage doors, see parking instructions on arrival). Any further vehicles can drop off at the house and then use street parking across the playing field immediately adjacent to the house. It is less than 1 minute on foot across the field. It is essential to separate rubbish / waste at this property. The local council has very strict rules for waste removal. We ask guests to, please, familiarise themselves with these policies in the house manual and signage on bins and in our kitchen. The house is dog friendly However if your dog is accustomed to sitting on the sofa etc guests MUST bring appropriate coverings / throws to keep pet hair off the furniture and bedding. Dogs must not be left unattended in the house or garden at any time. Thank you
