The space Find your inner peace at The Lazy River Chalet :) The upstairs main bedroom boasts windows on all sides and the sun-light all-day-long is stunning, especially in the morning. There is a king-sized bed with an Endy mattress. The bedroom has an OPEN ensuite bathroom with a shower (the only shower in the house). The room is a loft that overlooks the large open living room below. The upstairs bedroom would not be a good place for a young child, as the barrier is mostly decorative ( please see photos). The living room has a wood-burning stove and an arcade cabinet which has Mortal Kombat II 10+ other games, perfect for rainy day tournaments. 20+ board games, some children's books, and some toys. The kitchen is fully equipped and would satisfy even the savviest of chefs! The large dining room has 5x floor-to-ceiling windows that open and let in the most refreshing breeze and the sun pours in the afternoon. The main floor has a powder room equipped with a washer and dryer. In the basement, you will find a secondary bedroom which has a queen bed and an additional single bed (perfect for a teen or young child) separated by black-out curtains, perfect for a small family. There is also a charming closed baby's bedroom with a single bunk bed. The deck is quite large and perfect for dinners and drinks. There is a beautiful view of the river below and an old-growth maple forest which we keep natural. You will also find an x-large bbq, table and chairs, and 4x lounge sun chairs. The hot tub is perfect for 4 adults and the gazebo is beautifully lit with hanging lamps and a small fridge, so you don't have to go back into the house to fill up your drinks. A dip in the river is quite refreshing when the hot tub is too hot - your own private Scandinavian spa! VIP move: A full moon dip is highly recommended. The outdoor fire pit is large and is perfect for roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories. Walk 10 meters through the forest to the wooden bridge "straight out of snow-white", to your own private island, perfect for suntanning and drinking rosé. The piece de resistance; the lazy river, beautifully clear with a natural 5ft pool in front of the private island. Heaven on earth. Other things to note The chalet is an open loft and the upstairs bedroom is not suitable for toddlers or small children who can move around. There are 2 open staircases, please see the pictures. 🧖‍♀️ Using the Sauna at Lazy River Chalet 🧖‍♂️ Relax, unwind, and enjoy—but please follow these simple steps for a safe and soothing sauna experience. 🔥 How to Use the HUUM Sauna (UKU WiFi/Local) Using the Wall Controller located beside of the sauna door • Turn the black knob to wake up the controller. • Press the knob once to open the menu. • Rotate the knob to set the temperature (recommended: 70–90°C / 158–194°F). • Press the knob again to set the timer (how long you want the sauna to heat). • Press and hold the knob to start heating. ⏳ Heating Time Allow 30–45 minutes for the sauna to reach your set temperature. 💧 Sauna Etiquette & Safety ✅ Shower before entering the sauna. ✅ Always sit on a towel to protect the wood and for hygiene. ✅ Stay hydrated—drink water before and after your session. ✅ Children under 12 must be supervised at all times. ✅ Throw water only on the stones—never on the heater. ⚠ Important • Max session length: 3 hours. • Avoid sauna use if pregnant or if you have health concerns—ask your doctor first. • Never use the sauna under the influence of alcohol or drugs. • If you feel lightheaded or dizzy, leave the sauna immediately. ✨ Relax.
