This guest house is designed with work/business meeting space on the ground floor, but is also a fully equipped home with sleeping quarters upstairs. Sleeps 2-3, seating for 8. 1 standard bed & crib/twin airbed option in 2nd BR. There's a large deck out back with a picnic table and grill. NOTE: We only accept guests whose Airbnb verification includes a government issued photo ID for the primary guest who will be in residence. The space Coming to Dayton on business? We've transformed this cozy Edwardian home in downtown Dayton into a combination working space / guest house. The ground floor front entrance (guarded by Norm, the surveillance bot) opens into a sitting area with a WC for guests. The front room work space features a 7 ft stained glass Tiffany reproduction window and a gas fireplace, with 2 task tables and 4 task chairs. The dining room has a large stained glass chandelier, along with 2 more tables and 4 more chairs. The tables and chairs can be reconfigured to accommodate a group of up to 8, or split into workstations for 4 to 8 people, depending on your needs. The fully furnished kitchen opens onto a spacious rear deck, with a picnic table and gas grill. The upstairs Master Bedroom has a double bed, and the second room is furnished as a playroom/study, with a pack-n-play, desk & lounge chair. Bedroom 2 can be set up with a twin size air bed on request. $25/night charge for third adult guest. The spacious master bath has a tub with shower and a towel warmer. The utility room has a full size washer and dryer. LOCATION This house is situated in a tiny transitional urban neighborhood (about 40 houses) tucked between the Gospel Mission and Miami Valley Hospital, which calls itself "Hope Enclave." Some houses are under renovation, and a few are still boarded up, but the the eclectic group of residents - including me and my son - all know each other and look out for newcomers. There's a bus stop half a block away at Main St. and ample street parking. Dozens of restaurants are within a very short walking distance. To the east you'll find *Warren St/Brown St, location ofJimmie's Ladder 11 and the upscale Coco's Bistro. To the west is Patterson Ave, where you can enjoy Old Scratch pizza or Ghostlight Coffee. The house is not set up to accommodate more that 2 adult guests at a time, but the playroom sleeping area is suitable for an infant or toddler. We have a high chair and stroller for you to use, and safety gates for upstairs rooms are available on request. We have a twin size air bed we can set up in the baby room upon request. If this is to be used for a third adult, PLEASE be sure to include this information in your inquiry so we can configure the room appropriately. The fee for additional adults is $25/person/night. *"Warren" and "Brown" are the same street - it just changes names at Apple St. Guest access You will have use of the entire house. Breakfast fixings, plus some snacks and staples are also provided for you. Other things to note All requesting guests must have a government issued photo ID in their Airbnb profile to book. This ID must be for the guest who will be staying at the property.
