My place is close to Amazon HQ, the Space Needle, and Pike Place Market. Only 4 blocks away from the newly completed Light Rail and Street Car at Westlake Center. Ride the light rail all the way from SeaTac airport, right to your front door! Location, location, location! Belltown is THE premier neighborhood in Seattle--right in the heart of the city, you'll have access to all the best food, nightlife, and culture, as soon as you step out the door. Perfect for couples and solo adventurers. The space The building is a gorgeous historic charmer. Built in the 1920's, the old girl still has the glam to show for it. And renovations in 2007 provided all the updates and conveniences of modern life--including a combination washer/dryer machine, dishwasher, and full-size refridgerator. The space is furnished w/ midcentury meets modern pieces. I'm a bit of a minimalist, so everything in the condo serves a function and (hopefully) looks good doing it too. The kitchen is fully stocked, and should have everything you need to cook up the fresh fish and produce you find at Pike Place Market--or to just sit down with a bagel and a cup of coffee. And if you don't feel like whipping up breakfast, local legend Top Pot Donuts (visited by President Obama in 2010!) is literally right next door. Costco Kirkland brand Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Wash will be provided as well as fresh towels, bathrobes, and umbrellas. There may also be a complimentary libation, and some possible Seattle day trip itineraries to greet you upon arrival. You have some sleeping options in this space: -The Queen Bed in the bedroom features an Avocado brand natural mattress that is made w/ GOLS organic certified latex, GOTS organic certified wool, GOTS organic certified cotton and up to 1,414 pocketed support coils. No polyester, polyurethane foams or toxic fire retardants are used. It is sure to offer you a fantastic night of sleep--and you can rest easy knowing that no harmful chemicals were used in the creation of this mattress. The bedroom is accessible behind two thick pocket doors that can be closed to separate the bedroom from the living space. -My incredibly comfortable sectional also easily re-arranges into a Queen bed, and is perfect for two people. It is a delight to sleep on, and I have often found myself dozing off and spending a snuggly night on it myself. If you would like the sectional arranged in the Queen bed formation prior to your arrival, please let me know. Otherwise, it will be defaulted to the L-shaped sectional arrangement. -please note: the unit is in the heart of the city, and you may therefore hear some city noises. While the unit is rather well sound-proofed, you may hear the muted sound of cars driving by, and the hum of the mono-rail as it whizzes along outside. While I enjoy these sounds, and consider them the symphony of the 'urban ocean' swirling by, I understand not everyone is as easily lulled to sleep by them as me--therefore, complimentary individually packaged ear plugs will be provided for all guests to ensure that even noise-sensitive sleepers get a full nights rest. Other features: -I've worked to ensure you won't have to worry about keys at all once you book! Enjoy the ease of a keyless experience as the building features a main entrance code that will allow you to enter the lobby, and I've installed a wireless keypad on my unit that will allow you to enter the unit w/ a four-digit passcode. I will email both the buidling passcode and my unit front door code to you as soon as you book. And if you run into any issues w/ my front door code, I can unlock it with the push of a button on my phone for you. -the unit features WAVE Wifi w/ fantastic speeds up to 100 Mbps. -There is a TV in the unit which features an Amazon Firestick, allowing you to watch all the latest entertainment on Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Prime Video, & more. Guest access You will have access to the entire condo. One bedroom w/ large closet, living space w/ sectional and dining table/desk, fully stocked kitchen, and bathroom.
