We are Andres and Aurora, we have our organic estate in Tabacundo. We grow legumes and raise animals. We rent a room 7 minutes walking from the estate, next to the volunteers house. The bus is 5 minutes from your home and you can go to visit beautiful sites : Mojanda lagoon, Cuycocha lagoon, San Pablo Lake, Otavalo, Ibarra, Park Jerusalem, Quito. Enjoy During your stay We live a little further down, a 7-minute walk away, but if you want to see the estate and the animals, you can come down :) Other things to note For an additional $15 a day, we give them the produce from the estate : sourdough loaf, goat cheese, quinoa, vegetables, corn and wheat flour, herbs from the garden and more. And we also propose activities : detailed visit of the project, learn how to make cheese, milk the goat, knead the bread, form/bake in the wood-burning oven, sow.
