Close to excellent walks (Severn Way, Offa’s Dyke, Montgomery Canal etc.), canoeing, fishing, golf club and Garthmyl Hall (10 minute walk). Beautiful scenic countryside. Near to Welshpool/Llanfair narrow gauge railway. The space This spacious room has a comfortable Super Kingsize bed. It can be made into 2 singles (Please request this). There is an ensuite bathroom which can be kept solely for your use, or used by the adjoining single room, if you wish to share with friends or family members. There are 2 steps from the bedroom into the ensuite. These are lit by subtle lighting. Extra bed available at a cost. The house is set in a beautiful, mature garden displaying some exotic plants and ancient trees. These provide shelter for various birds and small wildlife. Currently we do not provide a cooked breakfast, but you will find cereal, bread and preserves in the shared dining room. Please help yourself. There is tea/coffee/milk in your room and all necessary equipment provided to heat ready meals. You have access to the dining room, if you would prefer to take your food downstairs to eat. Please leave dirty crockery and cutlery for us to wash. There is a tray in each room provided for this purpose. Please leave it outside your bedroom door for collection. You only have to ask! Other things to note The River Severn at the end of the garden is a major river and is fast flowing. Please take care! No streetlights on the roads. Torches provided if you wish to walk to Garthmyl Hall or other venues nearby.
