We have renovated this historic townhouse with great care, blending modern comfort with its unique and authentic charm. The entire home is bright, comfortable, and filled with character, from the exposed brick walls to the sun-drenched attic. Ground Floor (0): Features a bright dining room with a fully equipped open kitchen, complete with modern appliances. This floor gives access to a small, private courtyard and a basement with a washing machine and dryer for your use. Mezzanine: Between the ground and first floors, you'll find a cozy corner with a 4K TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Please note, we offer streaming via Netflix and YouTube, but there is no traditional cable or digital television. First Floor (+1): This spacious floor includes a bedroom with a king-size bed (180x200cm) and two single beds (90x200cm), a bathroom with both a bathtub and a rain shower, and a separate private toilet in the hallway. Second Floor (+2): Here you will find another bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200cm), a small bathroom with a rain shower, and a private toilet in the hallway. Attic (+3): Ascend to the super cozy attic bedroom, where a queen-size bed (160x200cm) sits beneath a large skylight. From here, you'll enjoy the most amazing view of Ghent's famous three towers and the 'Gravensteen' castle. This may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues or for very young children. Layout: The home does not have a traditional 'living room', but offers several cozy corners for relaxing, including the TV area on the mezzanine. Families: While the house is not fully child-proofed, many families have stayed with us and loved the unique character of the space.
