Chalet Regains, run by Mountain Highs Morzine, is a lovely 3-bedroomed apartment in an Alpine chalet set in its own spacious garden, close to town centre and lifts but on a quiet residential cul-de-sac, just 700m from the Super-Morzine telecabine and the town centre. 2 open air private parking places. Please note: the correct address is 105 Taille de Mas des Joux, Morzine, as the location pointer on the map is not quite correct. The space Chalet Regains is situated just off the Route de Thonon, 700m from the Super-Morzine telecabine and the town centre. Ideally for self-caterers, Les Regains is just 2 minutes walk from the Sherpa supermarket. The apartment is spread over the whole of the first floor of the two-storey chalet. There are three bedrooms (one is ensuite) and a bathroom with bath and separate WC. The large king bedroom has a sunny balcony; there is triple bedroom (single bed and double bed) and a bunk bedroom with ensuite shower, basin and WC. (See floor plan at the end of the photo gallery). The large L-shaped living/dining room and open plan kitchen all open onto the sunny front balcony with lovely views of the summits of Nyon, Ressachaux and the Dents Blanches in Switzerland. The living area has three sofas. The chalet has a 3-star tourist classification (March 2019). Guest access There is a ski and boot storage area downstairs and 2 dedicated parking spaces in front of the garage. Secure storage is available for mountain bikes, with a trough and hosepipe for bike (and rider!) washing, and there is a wonderful large garden complete with sunloungers for summer sunbathing! The garden and entrance door are shared with the owners who live downstairs on the ground floor. Other things to note WHAT'S INCLUDED: Winter ski season (Dec 14 - April 22): bedlinen, towels and end of stay cleaning are included. There's a minimum stay of one week during the peak winter season weeks. The Rest of the year: (April 22 - Dec 14): bedlinen and towels are included. The obligatory end of stay cleaning charge is payable locally and costs €80. IMPORTANT: DAMAGE DEPOSIT. We take a €300 Damage Deposit prior to your arrival. This can be paid via credit / debit card or bank transfer (Revolut preferred). We refund this deposit within 3 days of your departure. It is also possible to pay by French cheque. We will hold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to properly check the property. Please note the deposit rises to €500 for summer mountain biking groups and at our discretion. BIKE PASSES Summer 2025: The PDS bike pass for 6 days costs €204 per adult, €153 per child aged 5 – 15, and €183 for "youth" (ages 16 - 25) if you buy them at the lift pass office. We can obtain passes for you at a discount of 7.5%, i.e €189 per adult and €141.50 per child, €169 ages 16- 25. You will need to book these in advance of your stay – you can pay for them by card or bank transfer in advance, or cash on arrival. After booking I will be able to send you links to the bike parks of Morzine and Avoriaz and also timetables of the summer lifts. Minimum 3 days, maximum 13 days.
