An isolated retreat in a movie like setting.

Nestled among native trees, farmland and a landscaped kiwi styled backyard, is this quaint and charming home in a romantic location with a view that will take your breath away. If your looking to relax in comfort in an isolated setting surrounded by the sea and rolling hills then this place will be perfect for you. The space The retreat is separate, private and equipped for all you will need during your stay. I live in a self contained unit on the same property (see the third picture). I stay away from quests while they are staying but I am available to help and will empolre someone to gather groceries once a week if needed for an additional $100 per shop. Although the retreat is more of a cozy than an expansive house, I have just opened up the interior so there is an open plan kitchen and living area that looks out over the sea and farmland. I have added a large deck out the front from which to enjoy the main views and a courtyard and deck out the back for Barbecues and evening sun. One large bedroom with a luxurious super king size bed looks south across the sea towards the Otago peninsular and beaches of Blueskin Bay. The other bedroom has a Queen bed and two large windows so you can look either directly out over the pacific ocean or out over my vegetable garden and surrounding hills. I designed this home to relax surrounded by endless sea, sky and green pastures with the odd passing train, ship, boat, whale, bird or sheep with world class night skies and daytime vistas. This is a place to put your feet up, tune into nature and experience the best of what New Zealand has to offer. In light of the corrona virus outbreak I'm afraid I'm not allowing bookings until 3 days after the last guests have left. I'm sorry about this but it is for hiygene reasons Guest access Guests are welcome to wonder throughout the farmland and property (except on the farm during lambing) and use all the facilities.
