Red room in charming chambre d'hôte with fab views

Le Petit Canard (The Little Duck) is a 100+year old farmhouse opened as a Chambre d'hôte in July 2016 after the house was lovingly renovated. We have a large garden & terrace with a well, stone features & lots of outdoor seating (both shaded & sunny) to have breakfast or just to relax & maybe read a book. There is a seasonal plunge pool, sun loungers & a decadent jacuzzi hot tub to relax in (av.all yr), all with a beautiful view. There is free wifi and outdoor games such as croquet and boules. The space The house has been developed to offer comfort and space whilst retaining it's original features, character and charm. THE RED ROOM Is a lovely light room with a large SuperKing Bed and along with a further single bed can sleep from 2-3 people. The Red room has views of the terrace, garden and rolling fields beyond - you can also sometimes see as far as the black mountains and the Pyrenees on a clear day. The beds are all of excellent quality and very comfortable. There is also a wardrobe, shelving, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities, a spacious shower with towels and toiletries provided and an international shaving socket. If you require more rooms see our other listings as there are 3 bedrooms in our chambre d'hote in total (Blue, Red and East rooms - 2 large doubles that take extra beds and 1 twin) sleeping up to 10 people in total – 5,3 and 2. BREAKFAST/EVENING MEALS A large continental breakfast of Orange Juice, Tea, Coffee, Yoghurt, Croissant, Chocolatine, Cereal, Toast and jams, Eggs from our hens and Seasonal Fruit from the garden is included in the price and there is the option of ordering continental meats, cheese and bread instead when booking, or indeed a cooked English breakfast for a small supplement. Breakfast is served by the owners in the dining room or outside on the terrace. Upon prior request, evening meals can be shared at the owner's table - Table d'hôte. We offer meals of a french or english style from a light simple supper to a full 4 course meal with cheese. Guest access You will have access to our guest lounge/dining room with a tv that has french and english satellite channels as well as our spacious terrace and garden with a swing seat and sun loungers to sun bathe, read a book or just to relax and look at the view with a glass in your hand. Table d'hote meals are available when requested in advance. There is free on-site parking and free Wifi. During your stay We will be on hand when you need help, info or just a chat. Living at the property we are there to welcome guests on arrival, show you round the facilities and assist wherever possible. We are very happy to help guests with suggestions of where to go, and how to get there and give information of events that may be on to make the most of your visit to the area. Other things to note EVENING MEALS You could choose to eat out in the day and dine with us at night at the hosts table (from a light supper to a 4 course meal) where you will be very welcome and able to chat some more about the beautiful Tarn region (please request 24hrs in advance).
