Nestled in fabulous walking country with attractive towns & villages, superb pubs and tranquil open spaces all within easy distance. The views are glorious, overlooking wooded hills with the Black Mountains beyond. Hay on Wye with its bookshops and literary festival is 8 miles away. Hereford & its cathedral is within 14 miles. A warm welcome awaits couples, solo adventurers, cyclists, walkers, road trippers and anyone who relishes a recuperative rest in a tranquil and friendly place. The space The Summer House is a pleasant 12ftx12ft wooden hut with a 6ftx12ft veranda and decking. There is a bistro table with chairs. The Summer House is situated in my 1/3 of an acre of garden. It is a large space for your use and it is forever being improved as I learn the horticulturists' spells and charms. Raspberries and blackberries to pick when in season. Inside there is a king size bed, 10.5 tog duvet, four pillows and a spare blanket. All bed linen and sets of towels are provided. There is a table with sets of crockery and cutlery together with kettle, toaster and jars of tea and coffee. Fresh milk in the mornings. Fresh water in wine bottles is always on hand. Hanging rail with hangers; two bedside tables with lamps; two electric radiators. Two bistro seats, easy chair and cushion. Curtains and carpets. Lock on the door. The loo, wash basin and shower are in the extension to my house. It is for your own use - not shared with me or anyone else. It is 50yds across the garden and down a few steps - so not attached to the Summer House. The sliding door into the extension remains open all night. In the main house's extension, by the shower room, there is a space for your use with a worktable and chair. Here there are your own fridge and microwave. Wifi access is strong here, whereas it can be weak in the Summer House itself. This space can be used as a drying room for your wet clothes after a day in the mountains and hills. To the side of the main house is a gated driveway. This is for your own use - I park on the other side of the house, leaving you with free access in and out at all times. There are lockable sheds and garages for cycles and equipment. Guest access Private use of the Summer House. Private use of a shower room with its basin and loo - not attached to the Summer House but a 50yd walk across the garden to the main house's extension. Private use of the gravel driveway to the side. Private use of the main house's extension - at present furnished only with a worktable and wooden chair with a mini fridge to the side. Full access to all of the garden - probably shared with me as I continue with my weeding duties! Other things to note Wifi is not at its strongest in the Summer House at the moment. It is certainly fine in other parts of the garden and in the main house's extension that is for your use. Some mobile networks are better than others - Vodafone is reasonable.
