The Marina where our apartment is has many bars and restaurants, for pizza, panini, toasts, gelato, coffee and aperitifs. Groceries and household essentials at the Crai or Tabacchiaio. There is also a Pharmacy. All in easy 5 min walk from the apartment. There are buses from the Marina to the centre of Vietri and from there into Salerno to the train station. Taxis readily available. Call 089 757575. Safe and secure parking inside the grounds of the building with remote control access. There are several beaches within a 2 min walk from the apartment. There are loungers and umbrellas for hire in July and August. There is a beach club with a deck - lido - and loungers and umbrellas at the end of the beach to the left and right in front of Due Fratelli called La Ciurma. Very friendly, food and drinks can be purchased. From the pier on the beach in front of the apartment there are boats that take you to the beaches along the Amalfi coast that are only accessible by boat. These boats run every 15 mins and cost 10 euros pp return. Take umbrellas as there is no shade. Very well worth it as the water is crystal clear.
