Luxury rooms with breakfast very close to Minster

Our characterful home is 5 minutes walk from the Minster in the lovely city of York and we are very proud of it!! If you stay with us you will enjoy: * A traditional Victorian house built in the 1860s * Immaculate furnishings and decor * A secluded walled garden where you can relax and enjoy a quiet drink * A luxury bathroom with underfloor heating * Your own private space where up to 3 guests can eat, sleep, relax and watch Sky TV * A continental breakfast served at your chosen time. The space * Guest accommodation is on the first and second floor of the three storey house. * There is a large double bedroom on the first floor and a single bedroom on the second floor. * The space is suitable for one, two or three people. * One person will pay the advertised charge, each additional person will pay an extra £20. * When two guests book the space, it is their choice whether they share the large double bedroom or have separate rooms; the price is the same. If the double bedroom is chosen we will NOT rent out the single room to another guest. * There will be no charge for children under 5 years old staying with parents. * The main bedroom is very large with a table and seating area for breakfast. Extra plates and cutlery are available if you want to bring in snacks or order a take away. We are happy for you to have food delivered to the house but please avoid any food which could stain our bedding and furnishings. *There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room along with some delicious biscuits! * There is a TV in the room which has Sky Entertainment and Sports channels. * The bathroom is along the landing from the main bedroom, it has underfloor heating which makes it very cosy, especially in winter! * The bathroom is, of course, available for the use of guests throughout their stay. If you want to, you can reserve a preferred time in the morning when you will have sole use. Just let us know your chosen time the night before. * There is a separate toilet which guests can use if the bathroom is occupied. * Guests will be provided with a house key for their convenience. * The hosts will wash and dry guests' clothes free of charge. Guest access * Guest have access to all the areas covered above. * In addition they can use the lovely garden at the back to relax and have a drink. * Please do not bring food to cook as guests do not normally have access to the kitchen. * Parents can however use it to heat up food and milk for babies and the microwave can be used to heat up meals to be eaten in the guest accommodation. * An iron and ironing board is available but there are no clothes washing facilities for guests. * Toiletries such as shower gels, shampoos and conditioners will be provided should guests need them. During your stay * We are very keen to welcome guests from all parts of the world and will be happy to pass on our knowledge of the many and diverse attractions of the historic city of York. We can certainly provide information about attractions such as the Shambles, historical sites, galleries, and museums and make recommendations from York's huge variety of restaurants. * We will supply a range of brochures and leaflets to help guests plan and get the most out of their stay. * We are usually in the house for a good deal of time everyday and if we are not around can be contacted by mobile phone. * We have, however, arranged the accommodation so that guests can, if they prefer, retain their privacy. Other things to note *We will do all we can to accommodate changes in your arrival time, just keep us updated if this occurs! * We can normally make arrangements for guests to drop off bags before check in time or to leave them after they check out for collection later in the day.
