Suite Anatole France at Le Logis Alexandra BnB - a deluxe 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite able to accommodate up to 7 guests. The space Our 2-bedroomed Suite "Anatole France" has been created from three of the original hotel bedrooms on the second floor in the old section of the hotel directly above our George Sand Suite. Both bedrooms feature a 140 cm wide French Double Bed. The first bedroom has a private bathroom ensuite plus there is a very expansive bathroom with a 1.4 meter shower just off the living room which services the second bedroom and anyone sleeping on the convertible sofa. This 2-bedroomed suite is located on the second floor and has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a living area - it sleeps 5 persons in the 2 bed rooms plus another 2 on the convertible sofa - a total of 7 persons . After almost four years of renovations, the original Hotel de la Paix with its 18 bedrooms has been turned into Le Logis Alexandra (a Maison d'Hôte and Chambres d'Hôtes (Bed and Breakfast) with three suites and two ensuite bedrooms and more than 100 s.m. of public entertaining area on the ground floor. Le Logis Alexandra BnB is sited just off the village square, right behind the Mairie (Town Hall) and less than a minute from two Bars, a Restaurant and a Cinema. Within one minute's walking distance is the Benaize River with Superette and Electric Car Charge Station. - along with the Grocery and Hair Dresser. There is no public transport in La Trimouille but car rental can be arranged at our closest town, Montmorillon and pick ups can be arranged from the train station (15-20 minutes away). La Trimouille straddles three regions - Centre, Limousin and Poitou-Charentes and is the ideal location for exploring this historic and very beautiful area of Country France - what we, who live here, refer to as "hidden" France . Cultural sites abound within a 20 minute radius of Le Logis Alexandra BnB - abbeys, chapels, historic monuments, chateaux and pretty villages. Close by is Montmorillon is a beautiful Medieval Town given over today to all things literary - there are book shops specialising in all manner of subjects. And as for the ramblers, the cyclists and motorbike riders, the fishermen, the pro-active natural enthusiast - nature abounds - safe walks and safe cycling on good national roads and fantastic fishing and hunting...visit the outdoor activities section of our website - Le Logis BnB. Come and visit this wonderful, unspoilt region of "la France profonde" - the real country France that few tourists ever get to see. Guest access Guests at" Le Logis Alexandra Bed and Breakfast" can make use of our large dining room from noon on. Breakfast is complimentary and served between 8.30 a.m. and 10 a.m. in the Dining Room during the warmer months, or in the living room during the cooler months beside our wood burning stove.
