The Berber Room of the Dar el Calame riyad

Located on the first floor with a view on the patio. The riyad has 4 rooms more also available for rent. Double bed. Possibility of extra bed (15€). Private shower and toilet in taddelakt and open fire. Can be privatized with the Loggia room. Included in the rate: Moroccan breakfast and hotel service. The space Dar el Calame is located at the heart of the Medina in Marrakech, in the Ben Saleh district, 5 minutes’ walk from the souks and 10 minutes from Jemaa el Fna square. Our 'Riyad', the traditional home built around the patio (an inner courtyard), has been renovated according to Moroccan architecture and using local materials and craftsmanship: 'taddelakt' walls, zellige (small enameled pieces of mosaic), painted wood, 'bejmat'. All the rooms open out onto the 'patio' - the heart of the house - with its pond and exotic plants (banana, lemon and fig trees). The Berber room is one of our 5 rooms, located on the first floor with a view on the patio. You will also enjoy the calm and sunny terrace, another living area, overlooking the rooves of the medina, some minarets and, in the background, the peaks of the Atlas Mountains. Dar el Calame will ensure you an authentic stay where the pace of time is marked by life in the Medina and the calls of the muezzin.
