Our house a charentaise fully renovated is located in the middle of the little harbour of Mortagne sur Gironde at the estuary of the Gironde. The place picturesque and authentic, still undiscovered by mass tourism is a great location to explore. The space The house is an old Charentaise which has been carefully renovated. With the emphasis on discrete luxury and the rural French character, our cottage offers the absolute comfort for 6 people. On the ground floor, you will find a stunning dining kitchen with a gorgeous open fireplace. The large inviting kitchen is highly outfitted with all modern amenities to put you on a culinary adventure. In the cozy lounge with fireplace you can enjoy a good book, a movie or just reflect over the past day. Furthermore, at ground level you will find a small laundry room with washing machine as well as a bedroom with its own modern shower room. Upstairs are two large bedrooms and a comfortable stylish bathroom with whirlpool, shower and vanity unit. Outside you can enjoy the sun and the tranquility on the spacious terrace or in the garden. Make sure you enjoy having a BBQ with our delicious local products: oysters from Marennes, a pineau of a local winery or an excellent bordeaux. At 5 minutes walk, you will find the bakery, butcher and superette and 5 minutes more will bring you in the little harbour with his market, restaurants and cafes.
