Eva’s cottage, A Cosy cottage in the Lake District

A cosy traditional cottage . Located in the small village of Gosforth, Cumbria within walking distance of a bakery, pubs, Italian Restaurant and cafe . Perfect location for exploring ‘Britain’s favourite view’ Wasdale and Wastwater and walk some famous Wainwright’s or for a walk on the beach The space Cosy, with traditional features decorated in a bohemian style. Lounge/diner with a separate kitchen and separate utility space. Good sized double bedroom, a small single bedroom and Separate small bathroom which has a sloping roof. A small offset garden to the rear. Perfect bolt hole for a cosy home from home stay. We are Also pet friendly (1 dog, we would accept 2 with prior approval) LOCATION We are in the centre of Gosforth village. 10 minutes drive from Wasdale valley (Scafell and Wastwater Lake) and Eskdale valley. 8 minute drive to Drigg beach, 6 minutes to Seascale beach. 10 minutes drive to Muncaster castle and the steam railway. Half an hour drive from Ennerdale lake. Loweswater is 35 minutes. Keswick is 45 minutes. Windermere is over 1 hours drive . Guest access FREE parking is available 100 yards from the cottage. Either in the Pavillion car park or opposite the convenience store. Access from the pavement to the cottage via a couple of steps with the house having a small gravel frontage. Access to the rear garden is slightly off set of the back door. The garden backs onto a village green and has a handy gate for access. Other things to note Safe and accessible free Parking is available 100 yards from the property. The stairs (as is quite common in these traditional cottages) are quite steep. The bathroom is in the eves of the house and has a sloping roof. Very tall guests (more than 6ft) may find the height of the bathroom a bit challenge! Dogs - the rear garden is offset to the right at the back door , please ensure the gates are closed and they are supervised in the garden. There is a small garden to the front of the house, however this is not secure.
