Wake up to Sierra sunrise in rustic setting. Perfect for economically-minded. Tiny, simple room (no closet) designed for one. Small refrigerator & microwave, toaster, desk, TV/DVD player. Great home base for rafters, wilderness hikers or cross country skiers before or after heading out to Yosemite National Park. The space Again this room is "tiny" (6.5 x 10.5 feet). Just right for one bed but with the trundle bed pulled out, no floor space, so not recommended for more than one person. But there is a view from your room or on the front deck of the Sierra Nevada mountains where the sun rises and on a clear day you can see several peaks. Beautiful starlit nights where you can sit on front deck or even watch a lightning show in Yosemite if there is one...Winter or summer or any season, the views are great and Yosemite is delightfully different in any season. Peace and serenity are found here, indoors and out. We have a three story home, "bear" room on bottom, kitchen/Grandma's room (which can also be rented in addition to the sunrise room) and Sunrise room on main level, and our quarters on top. Outside has many places to sit, picnic bench and swing set. We do get snow a few times in the winter and the view is great of the Sierras with snow-capped mountains. Guest access room access & hot tub usually has to be pre-arranged (HOT TUB TEMPORARILY CLOSED DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS) During your stay We enjoy meeting our guests if the opportunity arises. We are always available via text. Other things to note Peepers and Squeak are resident outdoor kitty cats that we fostered a few months ago. They tend to want to be friendly. 🐈‍⬛😻
