The view, sun exposure and tranquility are the determining factors of Casa da Quinta de Revolta, located less than 500 meters from Ecóvia with an extension of 33 km that goes from Jólda (S. Paio) to Sistelo (Passadiços do Sistelo winner of the 7 wonders of Portugal - Villages Category). Less than 5 minutes away is the village of Arcos de Valdevez, where Portugal was born, and Ponte da Barca, 15 minutes away, the oldest village in Portugal, Ponte de Lima, via (IC28), less than an hour from the airport (OPO) and 40 minutes from Viana do Castelo (beach). Guest access is easy Arcos de Valdevez is increasingly betting on tourist attractions. The Vez Ecovia is one of the most recent examples. There are 32 kilometers of pure pleasure along the Lima River and the Vez River, which begin in Arcos de Valdevez and end in the dazzling village of Sistelo, already within the Peneda Gerês National Park. The Ecovia do Vez is divided into 3 main stages. If you choose to take the full course, the duration will be at least 6 hours. The path is made of dirt or stone paths, but you will find several places where the passage is made through fields of crops and over walkways along the Vez River that provide a breathtaking view of the landscape and a unique experience for both adults and children. For those who like nature, this tour of the ecovia is an excellent option, whether on foot or by bicycle. The Vez Ecovia route allows you to see the Visconde de Sistelo Castle, the terraces of “Portuguese Tibet”, the laundry, the 19th-century bridge, some abandoned mills, old natural shelters, old forest guard houses. Along the trail you can still see some of the most iconic points of the region, such as the Hermitage of Our Lady of the Afflicted and the Chapels of Saint Anthony, Saint John the Evangelist, Our Lady of Remedies and Our Lady of Carmo and climb to the Chã da Armada overlook and admire the panoramic view.
