30 min from Blacksburg -Bear Foot on Walker Creek

The Bear Foot Cabin is a cozy mountain hideaway designed to sleep up to 7 guests comfortably in four beds. It is located just 5 minutes from some of the most popular sections of the New River in Giles County and just 35 minutes from both Blacksburg and Radford. The cabin is highlighted by its spacious front porch with rocking chairs and swing to relax in while listening to the soft riffles of the creek. You can enjoy tubing, swimming, fishing, and late-night bonfires during your stay. The space Bear Foot Cabin has a great room with TV area, dining room, and is open to the kitchen. Also on the main floor is 1 bedroom with a Queen bed. There a sleeping loft that has 1 double bed & 1 double/twin bunk bed. The deck has a porch swing & rocking chairs and overlooks the creek. The firepit is between the cabin and the pavilion and is for Bear Foot guests only. Guest access The creek frontage is easily accessed under the big tree to the left (when standing on the porch looking at the creek). Do not go past the bridge unless you plan to get out on the New River as there are no more take outs past the bridge.
