Retreat house lodging in quiet woodland setting 10 minutes from town and I- 75 near several hiking areas with trail systems (trail maps provided), ca. one hour from Lexington and two hours from Louisville, Cincinnati, and Knoxville. Berea is the Arts & Crafts Capital of KY, with a number of artisan studios and display/sales galleries. Student-led guided tours of tuition-free Berea College outline its unique origins & architecture . Boone Tavern on College Square is a fine dining place of note. The space Lodging is in a large twin-bedded room with sofa and chairs and en suite bathroom. The two guest bedrooms are upstairs, providing added privacy. Breakfast is normally included, but not during pandemic. Guest access Guests have access to a large outside deck with chairs and a table for dining in good weather, as well as the surrounding woods and nearby lanes for leisurely walking. Because we specialize in offering a quiet and relaxing environment, television is not provided. During your stay Host lives onsite and can provide local and travel information.
