B&B Fani&Rozi: Romantic Double Room with breakfast

Fani&Rozi stands out with its unique location on the Drava promenade in the heart of medieval Maribor. Our guests have exceptional views of the wide river and its bridges, the Renaissance fortification Judgement Tower, the Minorite monastery and the giant oak, which is the oldest tree in the city centre. The Romantic Double Room is an attic room suitable for younger guests who do not mind the slopes. The equipment is special. All our rooms include a delicious local breakfast. The space It is not only the location that makes B&B Fani&Rozi unique, but also the history of this former family building will attract your attention. From 1920 to 2016 it was a family residence, and then the great-grandchildren started transforming it into a tourist facility. Fani was the name of our great-grandmother, who once owned a small shop where Drava raftsmen could buy food, cigarettes, matches and even nails and socks. Rozi, our beloved grandmother, was known for her hospitality and big heart. Her son Andrej Brvar, a distinguished Slovenian poet, spent his youth in this house. In his writings there are many reflections on the place, the people and the surroundings The design of the rooms is unique and each unit has its own character based on the exciting and rich traditions of this place. On a beautiful sunny terrace you can enjoy our local wines, sunbathe, smoke or watch the river with its swans, ducks and rivergulls. Guest access If you arrive by car, you can park in the garage under the main market, which is 50 metres from our B&B. There is a fee for this (2 EUR per night, 1,50 EUR per day hour). The property is attached to the Judgement tower from the south east side . You can reach the guest entrance of B&B Fani&Rozi at the address Pristan 8 without curbs, steps or stairs. Once you pass the entrance, you will find the reception on the left side of the ground floor. There is no elevator, but 15 steps up to the suite on the first floor. The double room is on the second floor and there are another 15 steps to climb. During your stay I am very pleased to be your host. You can ask me for any help you need during the day.
