Unique 5* barn conversion Caernarfon and Snowdonia

Ty Godro is a converted detached cow shed situated on an old Farm near Caernarfon. The Farm has been renovated over the last 19 years by the Williams family. The Barn boasts many features such as stone walls, vaulted ceilings, wood burner and it is detached. It has its own parking and sleeps a maximum of 6 Guests, including children and infants. We live adjacent to Ty Godro, but is private and quiet. Caernarfon is 2 miles away with its castle. The mountains of Snowdonia are 6 miles away. The space We are delighted to welcome guests to stay at Ty Godro. Ty Godro is set over 2 floors, with underfloor heating on the ground floor. The Ground Floor consists of: * Large modern kitchen with breakfast bar. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster, cooker, microwave, Tassimo pod coffee maker, fridge freezer and dishwasher. All the pots and pans, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils you could need and coat and shoe storage. Kitchen towel, tea towels, dish cloth, scourer-washing up liquid and cleaning products are provided.Also some dish washer tablets and coffee pods. * Living Room - spacious with a vaulted ceiling with large bifold windows onto an outdoor patio. A large comfy 4 seater sofa and a 2 seater snuggle chair. There is a dining area that seats 6 guests. A log burner (only in use end of September-the end of March to keep you toasty after a day in the hills (the log burner doesn’t have a guard). Underfloor heating throughout the ground floor. A smart tv, DVD player and WiFi.. * Bathroom - The downstairs bathroom has many features including a stone feature wall, sliding barn door, walk in rain shower, WC and sink. *The Hay Rack Room - Has a beautifully restored stone wall and has the option of being a Super King or twin beds. Plenty of storage for clothing. This was where the young calves were reared. *The Calf Room - Has a wood panel wall feature with a vaulted ceiling. It's the smallest room out of the 3 but is bright and airy and has a double bed and ample storage. Second Floor - There are oak stairs hand built by Alan and family up from the living room to the Loft. There is storage on the landing for bags and suitcases. * Bathroom 2 - This bathroom has a bath, WC and Sink and a heated towel rail if required. * The Granary Room - This is where the grain used to be stored. The room has vaulted ceilings with a wood panel feature wall. It has a double bed with plenty of storage. There is an electric panel heater if required. ALL BEDDING, TOWELS AND TOILETRIES ARE PROVIDED OUTDOOR SPACE There is an outdoor slate patio with a slate table with seating. Also out door lighting. A charcoal BBQ is provided in the summer (we don’t supply the charcoal). The fields are private as they belong to the local farmer, please don’t open and keep the gateway clear at all times. There is private parking for 3 cars plus. The Farm is located up a private track, it's approximately 300meters from the main road. Once up the track you will find yourself in a quiet retreat. Sleep 6 including children and infants. Sorry no pets. Guest access The car parking area and patio, up to 3 cars. Other things to note We welcome families. We have a travel cot and high chair (we don’t provide bedding for the cot). The log burner doesn’t have a guard. Maybe light it after the children have gone to bed. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are in the living room. (No stair gate). Only the single bifold door onto the patio is in use. CHARGING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES VIA THE HOUSE NORMAL SOCKET IS NOT ALLOWED AND WILL INVALIDATE OUR INSURANCE. EV CHARGERS CAN BE FOUND IN CAERNARFON, MORRISONS.
